We stayed here for the location as we had tickets for Vitality Netball World Cup hosted by M&S Bank Arena, it was a 10 minute walk to the venue which ideal. Never been to Liverpool before we both really the city friendly and safe.
Went for the netball World Cup, room was good and clean! However when we arrived the lady on check out was very rude and not pleasent! She asked too many questions which made us feel like we were being quizzed and made us feel uncomfortable! Didn’t eat here due to the price of breakfast which I believe is way over priced! Instead went down the road to wheatherspoons and had a full breakfast for half the price (which was amazing I’ll just add)
On our previous visit to Liverpool we had stayed at the Albert Dock Premier Inn with which we were very happy. This time we wanted to be more central so we stuck with Premier Inn but this time the one at Lime Street, which proved an excellent choice. It is very convenient for the Walker Art Gallery and Lime Street Station, which we wanted, and also St. George's Hall and several theatres etc. For a city centre location it was very good value and we could not fault our stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room and public areas are spick and span, helped by the fact that the hotel is new. The bed was very comfortable and there was very little noise either from within the hotel or from traffic. A thoughtful touch as the temperature rose was the provision of a top sheet as an alternative to the duvet. The choice and quality of the breakfast buffet was really good, and it was hot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and if it fitted with our plans would certainly chose this hotel again.
We were a party of 4 on a leisure stay for the first time in Liverpool. This premier inn was located a 2 minute walk from Liverpool - Lime St rail station, so was a perfect location for us as we travelled by train from Euston. Our 2 travelling companions came by car from Basingstoke and parked in a car park a few minutes walk away from the hotel. This was to be expected of any City location. The hotel was only a few months old, so everything was as up to date as it could be.We were within easy walking distance of the majority of attractions that Liverpool had to offer, so a great base to stay. Our only criticism would be that on 2 of our 3 breakfasts, there was very little in the way of fruit options which we were told was due to the fact that they had run out, which should not really happenWe opted for the 'meal deal' which we feel is very good value for money if you don't fancy venturing out to find a restaurant after a long day walking round Liverpool. Overall, a great stay.
We spent two nights here at the end of a cruise.A taxi from the docks made finding the hotel easy.Staff were very pleasant and stored our luggage as our room wasn't ready. We advanced purchased our room for £87 for two nights which was very reasonable especially as it seemed that all all the students in Liverpool were graduating. The hotel is relatively new and the rooms were standard Premier Inn. They were clean, modern and roomy but had little storage space,Don't expect much of a view as it is hemmed in by other buildings. No problem with the room except I didn't seem to be able to get the water temperature up high enough for a decent shower.tea and coffee were supplied and replenished.Surprisingly it was very quiet at night and the air conditioning could be turned off or made quieter so sleeping was not disturbed. We didn't eat here as many of the local pubs offered breakfast at half the price and there were many many options for evening meals. As we were departing by train nothing could be easier as it is a two minute walk to lime Street station. An excellent budget choice for two or three nights
